Kaempferia Pulchra spreads readily and divides easily.

Common Name: peacock ginger

Date Acquired: May 2001

Culture:

Kaempferia gets dappled to deep shade in very moist soil. Under and overhead watering with timed micro irrigation. It goes dormant in winter and comes back fine in spring. Prolific, though delicate, blooms all season.

Zone: Grows fine in zone 9 Houston

Size: Up to six inches high but flattens out as individual leaves mature. Up to a foot wide. Kaempheria can form large colonies.
