Curcuma cordata

Specimen Observations

Curcuma cordata Pink was one of the first gingers I had. It and roscoena are to blame for my ginger addiction. The tall inflorescence is awesome as it grows and fills out. It is an easy plant to grow and is a basic constituent of the Gingergarden.

Date Acquired: 2000

Culture:

Curcuma cordata is in bright shade, in a raised bed and is watered daily via drip irrigation. It is fertilized lightly.

Zone: at least 9

Size: 4 ft tall

Color: Pink
