Mirabilis jalapa

Specimen Observations

Wow! Mirabilis jalapa has it all. It's inexpensive, reseeds readily, has beautiful flowers and an intoxicating fragrance. It is a bushy, branching perennial and is called 4 o’clock because its flowers open in the evening. On cloudy days the flowers open earlier.
