Specimen Observations
Costus pictus bloomed the first year and grew over five feet tall. Although, it did bloom, it was only on one stem. It has a deep rich green color and beautiful tubular flowers.

Culture:
Costus pictus is in the shade receiving maybe an hour of sun a day. It is in rich soil and gets watered everyday via drip irrigation. I have not given it fertilizers.
