Costus amazonicus has beautiful variegated foliage. It hasn’t grown much for me since I got it in 2002; maybe 3 inches at most.
I’ll try moving this plant next year to place where it gets a little more sun. It may grow a little faster then…or not.

Costus amazonicus is not getting any direct sun. I figured since it was deeply variegated that I would protect from the fierce Texas sun.
